Details:
Leicester's creative hub for new technology. This is an exciting development and with the other developments happening in the area, this facility will help to transform a deprived part of the city over time into a diverse and thriving new place.
With the continued redevelopment of the city, Scaffold Services Ltd is once again at the forefront of the industry. Having been a constant presence within the St Georges area, Scaffold Services Ltd is the scaffold company of choice for the investment taking place in Leicester's new Cultural Quarter - most recently with their high-profile jobs at St Georges Tower and The Leicester Mercury, and now, for the £21.5m state-of-the-art Digital Media Centre.
Willmott Dixon has been commissioned to develop the project, which includes three cinema screens, digital production facilities, together with a digital exhibition space called 'The Cube'.
The building is scheduled to open to the public in 2009. |
