Standing as a former hosiery mill, Morley's Mill is being renovated to provide 76 high-quality apartments, where residents benefit from communal office spaces, a gymnasium, canalside gardens and moorings.

​

Scaffold Services Ltd were employed by Solus Homes to erect independent access scaffold around the perimeter of the Mill, retaining numerous features including the iconic chimney.

 

Once the roof covering and trusses were removed, high level penthouse suites were constructed using a steel frame, two-storey extension.

 

Further development of the area - close to the town's railway station - will continue with high-rise apartments, once the Mill's renovation is complete.
